The edition uniquely features recordings made by secondary school students from Salgótarján, rather than linguistic researchers. The recordings were made in twelve locations. Transcriptions were created by linguists in collaboration with the student researchers. This project, a collaboration between the Salgótarjáni Madách Imre Gimnázium and the ELTE Research Centre for Linguistics, was supported by national research and science popularization grants (NKFIH FK 138396, NKFIH MEC 149062).
