dataset was collected from Freelancer.com to examine how online impression management shapes hiring outcomes in gig-economy environments. It combines detailed information from project pages and freelancer profile pages to construct a linked project–applicant–level dataset. The data include rich information on project requirements, applicant bids, skills, reputation, and demographic proxies, as well as extensive textual features derived from application messages and personal introductions. These textual measures capture multiple dimensions of self-presentation, including structure, readability, formality, politeness strategies, sentiment, emotional tone, and persuasive language, alongside indicators of authenticity such as text uniqueness and introduction style. Az adatbázis a projektoldalak és a szabadúszó profilok információinak összekapcsolásával készült, így egy projekt–pályázó szintű, összekapcsolt adathalmaz jött létre.\n\nAz adatok részletes információkat tartalmaznak a projektek követelményeiről, a benyújtott ajánlatokról, a pályázók készségeiről és alapvető jellemzőiről, valamint a jelentkezési üzenetekből és bemutatkozásokból származó szöveges mutatókról. Ezek a szöveges jellemzők az önbemutatás több aspektusát ragadják meg, például az olvashatóságot, a formalitást, az udvariassági stratégiákat, a hangnemet, az érzelmi töltetet és a meggyőző nyelvezetet, valamint az autentikusságra utaló jegyeket (például a szöveg egyediségét és a bemutatkozás stílusát).\n\nAz adatgyűjtés célja, hogy nagymintás empirikus bizonyítékot nyújtson arra, hogyan
