Abstract:

The dataset contains thickness-normalized (cm) Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectra of unoriented clinopyroxene grains, a common rock-forming mineral, from cumulate xenoliths hosted by pyroclastic rocks of the Perşani Mountains Volcanic Field (PMVF), Romania. The shared .txt files contain two columns. The first column lists wavenumbers between 750 and 4000 cm⁻¹. The second column provides the absorbance values, normalized to crystal thickness (cm), at each corresponding wavenumber. The obtained spectra can be processed using the OPUS® software (preferably version 7.2.139.1294).
