Handling Errors

In the AROMA software, it is not possible to save an RO-Crate description that is deemed incorrect. This means that as long as mandatory metadata fields are not filled out or are filled out with incorrect values, all changes will only be visible on the user interface and will not be saved in the database. A popup window warns about incorrect or incomplete entries, where the incorrect or incomplete values are displayed one by one. By clicking on these, the interface navigates to the problematic value, where the requested modifications can be made. In case of incorrect entries, a red exclamation mark in a red triangle appears in the upper right corner of the Data Package panel, and clicking on it will bring up the error list again.
